Dr Linda See co-ordinates the training component of the Talisman project. As part of Talisman, CASA has given training workshops in the past on R, Quantum GIS, CASA tools such as MapTube and how to access big data streams such as Twitter, data from the Transport for London, weather data, etc. She is currently organizing a hackathon that is being held 7 to 9 Nov 2013 as part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.
She is also a Research Scholar at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) where she works on crowdsourcing to improve land cover and land use.
